Be Rich Results

As a church, we recognize that we have a huge opportunity to address a wide variety of needs in our community. 

While our primary responsibility is to meet the spiritual needs of those who live in Columbia County, we also have a desire to meet emotional and physical needs whenever possible. It is our intention to find ways to accomplish this throughout the year.  At the same time, we decided to make a concerted effort leading into the holiday season to do something really big in the name of Jesus - to be generous toward those in our community. “Be Rich” is a global campaign designed to do just that! 

We believe that those who are more resourced are more responsible. The apostle Paul instructed the church in Ephesus to “do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share” (1 Timothy 6:18). We want to “Be Rich” toward those in need and be generous with our time, our talent, and our treasure as a response to God’s generosity to us! 

We partnered with 80 churches, in 6 countries and 20 states, to then partner with local organizations that are meeting the needs of people in our community. We were blessed to come alongside three organizations who are making a long-lasting, real difference in the lives of those they serve.

Because of your generosity, we gave $14,300.00 total, and committed over 280 hours of service! That means each organization received a check for $4770 to go toward accomplishing their mission! And all the service hours you have committed will go toward serving those in need as well! Thank you so much for participating and for doing something really big, in the name of Jesus!
