January 24th Service Update
Hi Branches! Here is an update for you on the plans for this Sunday, January 24th.
As many of you know, we paused our in-person meetings for two weeks due to an increase in positive COVID cases within the Branches community. What you may not be aware of is that cases across our county are continuing to rise. We received communication from Columbia County Public Health that we will share with you below, and it contains some advice and additional information that we think you should be aware of.
It is important that we continue to keep those around us safe, and take the necessary precautions to do so. Those precautions include us remaining online this next Sunday, January 24th. Our hope is to see our Columbia County's numbers decrease over the next couple of weeks and be able to meet back in person again soon. When we do, we want to make sure that we continue to keep each other safe. So here are a couple of reminders:
While we believe that meeting together is an important part of being the church, we believe that loving one another by protecting one another is a part of being the church as well.

When we do, we want to make sure that we continue to keep each other safe. So here are a couple of reminders:
- We want to strongly encourage anyone who is immunocompromised to take advantage of our online service at 10:30AM, even after we begin meeting in person again. You get to experience the service from the comfort of your own home, and you won’t be subjecting yourself to unnecessary risk.
- Also, if you are having any kind of symptoms resembling even a minor cold, flu, or stomach upset, please take advantage of the online service as well and make sure to call your doctor to learn about local testing options.
- If you learn that you have been around someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, you should begin quarantining, and, again, call your doctor to learn about your next steps.
- When we do resume in person services, we will continue to be requiring masks while in the building, and our seating will be arranged to promote social distancing, as well. This again, is for the safety of all in attendance.
